Help Support CattleToday:

16 inches so far, its still raining but its a light rain now, so I guess we will see what today brings. The radar shows mostly lighter rain headed this way for at least the next few hours. Haven't been out but I don't think I could get far with flooded roads.

Looks like the heavier stuff is moving into the SE part of the state and LA now.

Yeah. We should make our average yearly rainfall out of this with 2 months to go in the year. .... Now tell me again why we are in a d3 - d4 drought?

I've spent the last couple months making rounds by ponds daily to make sure no one was stuck.....Today, ended that routine. All our ponds are overflowing. The grass has grown a little too...Such a relief...

I'm in the county west of the C in Cleburne. Just over 5 inches at the house but other places in the county received double that.

I've poured out 9.25 inches as of yesterday around noon. Looked out the window at the gauge. Looks to have close to another inch in it.

For someone that always has a dry rainguage... I just poured out another 2 inches. That makes 9 so far. Beginning to see water accumulating and looking for a place to go.

Should have gotten them oats in the ground.

Am 50 miles south of b in Cleburne and have had 14.5" so far. Overnight runoff has declined considerably, most now going thru culverts and little over spillways as compared to yesterday.

I finally got mine overnight---dunno how much but it rained slow/steady most of the night and I see some standing in the low spots today. I'll look at the gage later today.

Got about 6 inches total. Couldn't have ordered a better rain. Nice and slow no flooding. Got to get out a little today

Tanks filling up.

Clovers coming up. :lol2:
