Rain in the south

Help Support CattleToday:

Were they along Hwy 94 in that Neches river bottom?
She posted the picture from Houston County Coop...

She said they have had 10 inches there at her place in Trinity county. There are some pictures posted by the Trinity county commissioner, both of these were on Facebook groups.....of one road that was so badly washed it will be weeks before they get it back... and her sister's house has a couple inches of water in it, she is in Conroe area... road near her house looks like a 50 ft wide river... with street signs and speed limit signs.

In Oregon we've gotten 10" so far this year. It doesn't rain all at once like it does in Texas. It rains maybe an inch or two at a time, mostly just continuous piddley rains that add up. The river has not gone out of it's banks and it keeps the mud and mire well hydrated.

You know what they say...if you don't get when you need it, you'll need it when you get it.
