We've canned a thousand pounds of salmon working in Alaska, never saw worms thankfully. I see them near the belly in halibut and in Sea bass too.

I used to see them in sheephead and black drum all the time.

I have ate several hundred pounds of canned salmon. But it was all home canned. And none of it from Pinks (Humpies) which is the species that provides the vast majority of the fish to the canning industry.

You know those parasitic Lamprey eels that attach themselves permanently to salmon and chew their flesh and suck their juices? Well, in Oregon Lamprey are a protected species, there's a fine for killing them.
That is how nutty this state is.

I vote absentee in Texas. Oregon is a lost cause, so is the entire west coast. But we have to hold Texas because of all the califorians and yankees moving there
