There are 35 christian based main denominations in the USA. Also numerous others name it and claim it denominations. Now looks like we have freedom of religion every where. We also can name other religions that are here and they are as devout in their belief as the one tom cruise belongs to. Now pick one that needs to be given favor by letting its prayers be prayed in school.

That is easy, "you must pray my way, because everyone else is wrong."

I hear that all the time. Naturally, everyone thinks their the center of the Universe so their beliefs have to be right.

If the problem of prayer & religion at "State Sponsored events" is a problem, my suggestion would be to end "State Sponsored Events". I don't attend them. But I still have to pay for them in the form of taxes. It would help solve two problems at once, cut taxes and end this debate.

The first Courthouse in Robertson County, KY where my farm is located, was owned by the Free Masons. If you find anything to reference the history behind the proposal to insert "Jesus Christ" and the subsequent decision not to, please post it.

Actually there are well over 30,000 protestant denominations in the world. Most still using the old tactic of "Divide and conquer" to try and further the faith as they interpret it. All reading the same gospel or one of the hundreds of translations and all claiming to be let by God yet agreeing on little or nothing.

As for prayer in schools, I'd rather keep prayer a private and personal thing. I wouldn't want to have to sit through prayers from all the different religions represented every day.

I think they're all good ideas, except the child tax or lack of child tax. I can't figure out what he was trying to say. If you want kids why should the rest of us be punished? To the best of my knowledge I don't owe nobody nothing and the government doesn't either. I like the flat tax on everything you buy, and also on what you make. But there can be no exceptions or deductions made for ANYONE.
The way I see it is there's over 50 million POS in this country, and I don't have that much ammo.
