Not sure what your gun laws are but here we can buy a compound called Tannerite. Some others also. Place the Tannerite in it and shoot it from a distance. Great feeling when the pressure hits you.

How big of a boom do you want? Too big and it is harder to get it in deep enough on the dam. 6" will give quite a blast.

Maybe. Beavers are fur clad engineers that can really interlace those sticks and limbs.

At one point I thought learning to use explosives would be interesting. But then I saw a few pictures of guys
that worked with explosive and noticed some of the "powder monkeys" were missing fingers.
