I agree.. We've got some Simmi x Limo commercial cattle. I put embryos in them and then they go with a simmi bull. You can imagine the colors we get. Most of the cows are 1/2 to 3/4 sibs. So the calves are all 3/4 plus sibs and they bring an array of prices at the sale barn. All because of hide color. Pull the hide off and these calves will all look just alike... Frustrating
 
What colors are your Simmental and Limousin cross cows? The use of non traditional colored Charolais lets you manage the color of your calf crop better so you get more uniform colored bigger groups of calves come sale day so you make more money.
