How many employees do those 30 -40 home owned stores employ?
Same as who works at Walmart , only difference is you had all those store OWNERS who might have made it to middle class with a little luck and some hard work.
How big of a town are you talking about that can support that many home owned stores and still turn a profit?

How can they be taking the profit out?
Do you think they aren't in it for a profit?
How much did they donate to the local schools etc etc when they built and opened that store?
Just enuf to make them look good, and get the NIMBY'S off their butt
How much do they donate on a yearly basis?? I know for a fact that corporate allows each store a given amount to donate to local charities each yr with out question.

Where do those employees that they have spend their money??? do they pay local taxes on the money they spend? How many would be unemployed if not for Walmart?
