I don't have anything against brown people. I grew up with brown people, my best friend when I was a kid was brown, I've dated a lot of brown girls, and my sister is brown. Where I stand has nothing to do with race and skin color it is all about laws and safety. The people walking over that border looking for work are not my main concern, my concern is the cartels and the person who would sneak a dirty bomb or biological weapon across that border.

Pandora's box and it has went from being overfunded into steady decline.

In all of the political rhetoric during the past year I don't remember anyone saying they were in favor of deporting ALL of the illegals - seriously, ALL. What I am hearing is deportation of the criminal element and gain control of the borders. What could possibly be wrong with that.

Didn't say I wouldn't, said I haven't. And at my age I believe counting on it still being there is foolish. I pay in for myself and match every dollar payed by my employees. I'm funding your ss , because yours got pissed away by whoever.

So again I consider my payments as wasted money. And it is included nowhere in my retirement plan. I'm not so stupid as to count on the government to (supplement) me.

A business write off is not a supplement. It is a deduction against taxable profits.
Sales taxes are still paid but The expense is deducted from taxable income.
If. Its say for instance a trailer titled to the dba account. And you sell it , it counts as income. And you are taxed again.

Lavaca, no you are not reading my posts correctly. I am in full support of border security. Build the wall, though I dont believe it will stop much.

You will not, in my 5 years of membership here, find any post of mine that advocates anything lax as to border or national security or any progressive or liberal principles. I would side with Caustic on the categorization of federal programs as well.
I try to be consistent in how I apply my principles. I hope we shoot all the cartel members and terrorists we can find, but I do draw the line at shooting people just for crossing the border or drawing a welfare check. I think there are far better solutions to those problems than a bullet.

And, he wasnt my guy either. My guy had an actual history of conservative actions, but the rest of my party wanted the loudmouth New Yorker, so Im stuck there with you. I hope he sticks to his campaign promises, but his history doesnt bode well for conservatives.

Agree we need a tax that does not requires the American citizens to spend billions of hours keeping records to pay the IRS. And then billions to have someone prepare the taxes because the rules are in constant change and the the professionals filling out the IRS forms have to go to school to update on all of the new rules.

On TV last night there was produce farmers that could not find the help required to harvest. Some have let the fields lay and the produce rot. Mexicans have become afraid to come here because of prosecution. Also Ag workers from Mexico are the lowest paid with construction workers drawing the largest salary.
