May? heck, we'll have lush grass in Oct!! When we moved out here from Kansas, I was always amazed that the grass is still green under the snow. The biggest surprise was the CORN. The ears will drop completely down and the whole plant is still as green as the day it started growing. But, a frost can screw up the farmer for silage.
