Our cows run between 1100-1300 lbs. Anything bigger eats us out of house and home and anything smaller doesn't have the capacity to carry calves year after year. We sold a Maine and a Maine/Shorty that were both gigantic. They were dinosaurs, but they weighed 1350 and 1300 respectively. I think most people would be very surprised if they actually weighed they livestock. I would guess most would be under actual weight.
