Son’s organic cow calved

Got any tips and tricks for a fella who's exploring some options?
They claim you just want to see the ends tip down past level. I tend to leave the weights on until there is an obvious tilt down. 20° maybe? (usually because I don't find time to get the bull in just to take the weights off)
For some reason the horns on my new bull are starting to point backwards. I think they are going to end up behind his ears.
I've had good luck sloping horns too. A horn will grow to the longest point. If you cut the ends on an angle they will grow to the long side of the angle.
