Fought in a cage.

Me too...sorta. A make shift ring in a Lafayette La bar against a muzzled, drunk, taped paws black bear. That sucker whupped me down to a frazzle as a bunch of cajuns hoorawed me for getting such a beatdown, but a dozen more tried him too. The bear left there undefeated. Every time he fought, someone would give him a long neck and he could drink one down faster than any human ever could. That sucker stunk of bear pee and stale beer.

I too was hit by lightning when I was 15 or 16. Unhurt, but I ain't forgot it. It really really hurt.

Survived 2 USMC helicopter crashes, shot at many many times, burned from boot tops to both knees by JP-5. (don't believe it when someone says nomex is fire proof--it ain't)

Blew a little sweet tea though my nose on that one :lol2:

Attended National FFA Convention in Kansas City, Kansas in 1968.
Watched the space shuttle Challenger blow up after liftoff in person.
Watched another shuttle land at Kennedy Space Center.
Welded on Mobile Launch Platform #1.
Stood under main fuel tank and solid rocket boosters before they were joined to the shuttle. :tiphat:

Fathered 9 children.
Delivered 6 babies (3 in a non-hospital environment).
CPR on newborns on 2 separate occasions.
Flew in an F-16.
Lunch with Walter Payton.
Walked away from a high speed POV vs train accident.
Received 5 of the 7 Sacraments on the same day.
Held my first wifes hand the morning she drew her last breath. I was 34, she was 37.

Had a lengthy conversation with Dan Quayle.

Rode Charlie Daniels horse, when I was just a kid. Made a big impression on me at the time. I doubt he remembers me.

Great thread Bigfoot! I owned a boat that had a good stash of weed in it for a couple years before we found it.

I'd say Graybeard still wins so far, but I'm jealous of Supa Dexta's boat ride across the Atlantic. I've done a few neat things over the years, even rodeoed with Dan Daily, although it's looking like at least 63% of us did. lol I was just getting started when he was winding down, but I always tried to park next to him when I could. Two weeks ago I was building fence in the hill country of North Wales, right on the Irish Sea, and I'll just bet that I'm a one percenter in that category. There's a bit of a visual riddle for you in that last picture.

I led a bull I bred, raised, broke and fitted on the tanbark at the NWSS in Denver two years in a row. We didn't win, but it was a highlight of my life!

Also fractured my skull in a car accident...did not go to the hospital.

I got slapped down on the ground by a rank mare I was riding so hard that I woke up several hours later.

My "day" job is in casino security management, so every day I deal with a lot of stuff most people never do, including having Lita Ford throw a Sharpie at my face! Doesn't seem as exciting after over a decade though....

So that's the origin of that song :D

Best I can tell I've lived a pretty lame life in comparison :D
Very interesting topic

Funny. Seriously though, this was only a year ago, and I doubt she was in the state of mind to remember anything. I'm fairly certain she was popular before I was born. I've met and/or provided security for everyone from Charlie Daniels, Billy Currington, Blackhawk, Wynonna Judd and Kelli Pickler to Aaron Lewis (Staind), Unkle Cracker, Vince Neil, Hinder, Brett Micheals and tons of male exotic dancers. Most we kind and gracious, some no so much.

Was 12 miles from the largest recorded Tornado. While driving around the OKC area, trying to find the church we were staying at. After 2 hours of driving in hail, and rain, we ended up back where we started. Turnly only by the grace of God!

Now THAT looks like a machine that'll put fence posts in in my kind of ground!

Never did see the visual riddle you mentioned though

It's hard to beat a good, purpose built piece of equipment! The sheep in the picture are black, except for the one. I thought it was ironic that the white sheep was the "black sheep" of the pasture. It was funnier when I was sleep deprived and jet lagged.

Sat in a courtroom and listened to the judge read a defendant his execution warrant. A very sobering experience even if he was a piece of crap.

What have I done that 99 percent of others haven't? I've made it to age 48 without participating in the rat race. I've led a very laid back, drama free lifestyle.

Intubation and ventilated a 1 lb baby girl. She could fit in you hand. Watched more souls leave their body than I would care to count.
EMS detail for several presidential candidates and presidents. Received Secret Service commendation.

I have designed one composite cattle breed, one goat breed and three sheep breeds. The goat and one of the sheep are on planning stage, the cow and two of the sheep are operational.
