http://www.irishblacks.com/trademarked.html maybe if lasater had done something like this... he could have put restrictions on breeding ,,, he might have suffered a little business.. but the breed wouldnt have
Now if you really get to the Foundation Herd breeders IE Lassister, Casey and a few others that DO not have the Corrupted genetics, I agree with you 100 % check out Walt Casey's herd. What underline, what ear? Pure Beeefmaster at their BEST.

I don't care much for that rangy phenotype. Is much prefer a beefier build like this guy. http://www.bovine-elite.com/beefmepd2.a ... 3&id2nd=25 what I'd give for some bald faced heifers outta this fella.

That is not a rangy phenotype. It is exactly what cattle are supposed to look like.
suits you better
According to...? Maybe "framey" suits you better...

I suppose that a good beefmaster on a lawn has more frame, and is thereby rangier, than a equally good beefmaster in grass high enough to cut as hay? Sarcasm intended.

I finished part 1 of the book and thought I was on the right track by following half of the principles. Then I read the part 2 - - leasing ranches and leveraging cattle to sell premium breeding stock w/o much equity. Looks like I may not become a professional cattleman after all.
Is the part 2 you're referring to a separate book or?

Yeah it's sort of like going to college. Part one is attending and graduating. Part two is utilizing it for maximum return on every dollar invested.

Dammm. I paid a grip for the book and got it in today just to realize the part I was most interested in isn't included.
