What a great American! Too bad there are not more like him today. Got to meet him in person twice. He seemed to be in real life exactly as he appeared on screen. Best of all he was a cattleman, Hereford breeder. Actually filmed a lot of cattle scenes on his own ranch with his own cattle in AZ. I was only 10 or 11 years old at the time but a memory I will have forever.
