usually make first round clockwise then switch to counter clockwise. My reason is the mower kicks out grass to the right side. This leaves a clear path for next round. If you mow clockwise it throws the cut grass on the uncut portion. This cause a greater load on cutter going through the uncut and a load of cut grass each round. Just the way I was taught.

Left handed leash for his wallet.
He don't need no leash. He's like a boat anchor. Does a great job of holding things down so they don't run away!
Especially chairs. He excels in that department
