I'm looking for more commercial cows (non-black, moderate frame) and have been looking for decent listing sites that are usually up to date. Facebook Marketplace is a mess and I've found a couple other sites but when I reach out, they say the animals sold months ago and are surprised the ad is still up.

What sites are the best to look at?

Have you contacted your local sale barn to see if there are any early consignments or herd dispersals? Or whether they could put you in touch with a producer?
It seems like they have no interest in connecting sales unless they come through the sale barn. That is exactly what I am trying to avoid.

Gotcha. I live in a small community where early consignments and dispersals are posted and while the sale barn is obviously out to make money, they recognize that helping out is also generally in their best interest.

That sounds like Cattle-Exchange.com. The ads are not dated and everything seems old unless you click "new listings."

I don't know the best sites, but here are some links.
EDJE Cattle - https://edje.com/
Cattle USA - https://auctions.cattleusa.com/
CCI Live - https://www.cci.live/sales-schedule
SC Online - https://sconlinesales.com/
DVAuction - https://dvauction.com/
LiveAuctions - https://liveauctions.tv/
Superior - https://superiorclicktobid.com/
Ranch House Designs - sale books | https://ranchhousedesigns.com/

And you can check any breed association's website for upcoming sales or classified ads. Some sale barns have a "country cattle" page to post a listing to buy/sell cattle.

Well, that is a lot more options. Thanks a lot.

Thanks. This is about the online one I have found but it has no dates to show how old the listing is.

I used to follow that site quite a bit, and bought at least two bulls off of it. I wouldn't worry too much about how old the listing is. If the listing isn't marked as sold the animal(s) should still be available.
