Official "Carl" the steer thread.

Carl is my son's 4-h steer that we purchased from Margonme(Ron). Just for Ranchman90 I will include the picture of Ron just so he can see that we are not the same person.

When I contacted Ron about a steer he said "sure I have one", so we made arrangements to go to Ron's place. When we got there Ron actually had 2 steers, after looking at his cows, we decided to take the smaller of the 2. My son weighs 70lbs soaking wet. I wanted him to break the calf to lead and to be able to handle it. He can. Mission accomplished.

Wow. My proudest moment on Cattle Today. Your son has done a great job getting him broke so soon. Thank you. This is why a person should do this.

That steer has Margo's disposition. Your son will have a difficult time when you know what has to happen!
