If he has decent numbers I'd buy him for that money!

Virgin?
He's showing a lot of masculinity for a Brangus bull that young. It's dam hard to find brangus bulls with a rump on em for $3400.

Have you seen him walk? He looks pretty straight on his back legs. Based on the picture alone, I wouldn't pay $3400. If he walks good, $3400 is pretty fair for a 2 year old. He looks good from every other angle.

Is he registered? I couldn't find him on the Brangus website.

With all that butt and size with a good pedigree to give you what you are looking for , $3400 does not seem too bad at all.

With no pedigree there might be too much in the woodpile ... if you know what I mean. I suspect very few commercial folks go to the trouble of weighing their calves at birth. He might have hit the ground at 115.

Just something to consider.

I sometimes wonder how many registered breeders ACTUALLY weigh calves. I have seen some sales where no calves over 85 lbs . I have have seen others though I don't question with a mixture of calf weights even up in the 90s.

I would love to run some Brangus bulls but with as many breeders as we have the quality is just so-so around here and most brangus breeders here dont register them.
