No. Been like that for a couple months now. Seems perfectly normal aside from being all droopy and a torn tag hole.
We had a cow that got an infected ear as a calf because I didn't properly get the whole neck of a z tag through the ear. By fall it was a mess. We cut the tag out, flushed the abscess and gave an antibiotic. The ear stayed crumpled. Sometimes one needs to slow down,,,,,, even when a protective mom is blowing snot up yer whazzoo.

I tore one this past year when tagging a baby calf. Its ear looked just like that 2 weeks ago when I sold it. Cost me probably .10 a lb because of how it looked.
That ear definitely would have had a huge influence on feed conversion and growth in the feedlot hey?

That's exactly what they did too. I had several heifers just alike. They sorted the "lil dog eared heifer" off and she sold seperate. Cost me Over 20 cents lb

107 had this years calf!!
Black baldy bull. Hes a stout lil booger too.
Glad I kept her around. This is her 2nd and seems to be doing a fine job so far!
(That's not 107 but that's her calf!)

Steer calf weighed 650lbs after 90 day weaning.
On good grass and 14% creep 3 times a week. He was in with a dozen others. 50lb bag Monday Wednesday Friday.
Brought $1.61
The total dollars was nice. I can't tell ya if it was worth it or not. Creep is over 12 bucks a bag right now. I bought 6 bags for my 2 calves I had with my friends calves over there.
On good grass and 14% creep 3 times a week. He was in with a dozen others. 50lb bag Monday Wednesday Friday.
