Some of the calves, while waiting for the last calf from cows due on the 8th of September.
1 month and 3 days old, dam is 13 years old and been in heat yesterday.
1,5 months old heifer.
4 months old bull calf by the previous lim bull and out of 2nd calver.
Bull and heifer by the same AI lim bull, May 25 and 26th born
Heifer by the same sire as the previous two calves and out of simxlimx heifer. April 10th born.
And a couple calves sired from the crossbred bull.

Have forgotten to post the last newborn calf from cows ( two heifers are due on the 25th of this month and on the 5th of September).
The last calved cow is 9 year old, sired by crossbred bull. She had her first calf at 15months age. This time she has lim sired bull calf, 287 days gestation, calved unassisted. Calved on the 10th of August.
And just a couple pics of calves.
Almost 5 months old piedmontese sired heifer. Going to be a big girl!
Bluex from angus cow.
April 25th born 7/8 lim heifer, sired by previous herd bull.
Abit of ears on this boy! Simmental sired, from limxcharx cow.

They look a lot like the calves I was producing in Arkansas. I like meaty animals.

Now a group of AI sired calves.
That's a mix of lim, simmental, vrb, parthenaise and piedmontese sired calves.

Forgot to add an extra 
dairy heifer, which is raised by one of the first calvers, after she lost her calf. Her biological dam is jersey cross.

Have weaned almost all calves and sold all bull calves. Most of the calves were April-May born, weighed in November. Average bull calf weight 617lbs. Average heifer weight 550lbs. Some of the bigger calves were over 700lbs. No records, average growth, but all pretty consistent.

Some cows are already getting ready for the new calving season. The first one, the only pure lim cow, is due on the 31st of December. Second cow is due on the 7th of January.
These three will be the first ones to calve. The first- pire lim, pure lim calf. Second- limxcharolaisx, incalf to belgian blue. The third- 3/4 lim, incalf to Charolais. Well, some exciting new sires were used, so it's going to be an interesting calving season!
