Ronnie hauled the four bulls we have consigned to the vet this morning for their BSE exam and trich test. They all passed the BSE of course we have to wait for the state lab to evaluate the Trich test, we have never had an issue and these are all virgin bulls so I don't foresee any problems with the trich test. We have been hauling bulls to this sale for a long time I really can't remember how many years. Michelle Elmore and the BCIA staff do a great job and really strive to insure that the buyers are getting high quality bulls for their programs. For more information on the sale you can go to http://www.albcia.com/ and click on sales. The four bulls that we are taking are:

Lot #11 Gizmo Final Answer 1202 1010 todays weight 1625 SC 36
Lot #12 Gizmo Regis 1229 E15 904 todays weight 1480 SC 38
Lot #13 Gizmo New Day 1236 713 8005 todays weight 1625 SC 40
Lot #14 Gizmo Rito 1264 942 9R9 todays weight 1720 SC 40

Scott,

The sale was a barn burner! We did good but others just did great lots of folks in the stands and it was the best sale as far as overall quality I have seen in a few years. I can't tell you the overall average we headed home immediately after the sale, but the Angus bulls offered averaged around 5100 with the high selling Angus bull being lot #6 from Emuckfaw Creek Farm at 7500.00. Like I said we had a good sale but Emuckfaw had a great sale they had several bulls sell for over 7,000. The sale staff did a great job as always.
