Say Michele maybe you want to trade stories on putting chains on the tractor with the husband? Did ours last week and I seriously considered putting the bale spear through his cold black heart! :shock:

I hate to admit this, but we dont own a pair of chains for the tractor that we use for winter feeding. I don't know how we have survived so long, but when worse comes to worse, we put a bale on the back 3 point for traction, and make a path of sorts.

Chained up the old Ollie last month...only winter work that I do is plowing the snow so Susie can go to work and tow the grand kids around in a old boat.
One shot of starting fluid and he fires right up always has...only problem is that the steering box froze the other night and took forever to steer straight.

chains...fer what...just kiddin i know. i lived in pennsylvania for 20 yrs so i know chains. and wreckers and snowplows....

it never snows here ;-)
