North and South (the TV movies)

The three "North and South" TV movies-miniseries (from the John Jakes novel trilogy) have always been among my favorites, and I've tried to find them on VHS and/or DVD for a number of years, to no avail. The books are also pretty hard to find. However, I was in a Sam's Club this past Friday night and to my great delight I found all 3 of these moves packaged together for $45. What a great deal! Apparently this is the first time that they have been released on DVD or VHS. Just thought I'd mention it here in case any of you folks also liked these movies enough to want to get copies for your home movie library.

Hey AZ did you read any of the Kent Family Chronicles books? I read them all 25 years ago,but have lost track of them over the years. Does anyone know if any of the ones made into movies are available on tape or DVD?
