That is not a Brangus cow. She might have a little bit of Brahma and some kind of black cattle in her, but she's no Brangus. Would you say you are closer to Florida or Wyoming?
Do a search on Brisket Disease. I am betting that black bull has it.
I like that little bull calf too. But it's too early to say he's breeding material and I'm leaning not.
Buddy sold some 3 and 4 yr old heavy breds at $2675 and another group of 5 yr old heavy breds at $2600

Yep. All cows sold really good except a few odd singles at the end of the sale.Pretty good showing at Fairview tonight. I would have liked to have gone but didnt work out that way. The char bull would make an ok steer and those bull prices, you can find better for cheaper. Did all the cows sell well? Guess u didnt pick up that mini pair
It's funny how the same animal can look so different in different pictures. In the top two he looks deep and thick, and in the bottom two he doesn't look very deep. Still, he looks a lot better in the brisket than in that first posted pic. Maybe there was something black behind him in that first image.

There is still the issue of him supposedly being pure bred, from a breeder of registered Angus, but he is not registered. Too many better ones that are registered for the same or less money.
