Did you work brahmans with your grandpa? I like that roof area.I will.
I'd like my grandpa to see the pens I have now compared to what we use to have to work cows in.
ThanksVery nice pens, tex.

We were planning on selling her bred, but she jumped out and had the calf a couple weeks later.I hear tell if they can't jump over it, they'll go thru it!!
Dandy lil baby brahma calf @tex452 !!!
Love that!
I'm going to build something similar using pipe and cattle panels. I might make them freestanding and portable.I have never had one be successful in this pen. In my younger days I owned that type .View attachment 33179
We're getting ready to build some new pens and are gonna go 7' just for that issue. Our old brahma for the biggest part sired calves that you could handle but our last gathering we had about 4 yearlings that went over 6' pen sides pretty easilyI have had a few jump out, so I raised my pen up a foot, this should work.
The cattle panels are attached for me to climb.I'm going to build something similar using pipe and cattle panels. I might make them freestanding and portable.
