Long legged Brahmans

I have had a few jump out, so I raised my pen up a foot, this should work.

We had some Brahman x cows and had a Brahman bull at one time.

We were planning on selling her bred,but she jumped out and had the calf a couple weeks later.

I have never had one be successful in this pen. In my younger days I owned that type .

If you can get some one to put a dart in them it generally works wonders. They get real drowsy and their natural tendency is to ball up with other cows. You can dart them with some easy going cows. They will migrate to the middle of the group. Then just take the whole group to the pens. Send them down the chute and every thing real easy but cut the keepers at the end and send the problem on the trailer.

We're getting ready to build some new pens and are gonna go 7' just for that issue. Our old brahma for the biggest part sired calves that you could handle but our last gathering we had about 4 yearlings that went over 6' pen sides pretty easily

The cattle panels are attached for me to climb.
My mind says I can still vault over it. It ain't happening.
That was my last one in the journey it's built out of drill stem and gated where one man can work them.
It's built drive through like the salebarn.
