2001 was a long time ago

I'm in the aviation industry and was at work when the receptionist came out into the hangar. I'll never forget the look on her face.
I sent everyone home with pay to be with their families.
I hadn't had television since 1995. Shortly after the attacks, I bought an antenna so we could keep up with the news. After a couple years, God sent a hellacious wind storm and said "NO". We haven't had piped in television since 2003.
Those events have altered the way I can conduct business.

Just heard that on the radio in the tractor. Another good one is this...We seem to be a United country then or at least after the attack. Now people would probably cheer when the plane hit the buildings and cheer louder when they fell.

I think it was in 2003 a buddy of mine sang Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue at our High School talent show and when he got to the part "Cause we'll a boot in your ass, it's the American way" our whole school pretty much erupted in cheer, students and teachers. I will never forget it.
