I'm scared to think just how much I'd pay for one of those nice bred bulls :bang:

Oh lordy, lets have a discussion over what bulls to use on angus bulls. :D :pop: :compute:

Oh my, some of you smart ass guys lol. . The bulls pedigrees and numbers were good. .that help you understand? ;) i know some just can't see the fire through the smoke so it has be spelled out correctly for them. ..
Tom the sale was in Albany, ky. Barn bought majority of the 150 bred heifers for 1700 to 1800, but they also have no idea where the calf prices falling to.

when the barn buys cattle they know they will make money no matter where the calf prices fall to.

A little off topic but I went to a bred heifer sale in Fayetteville Tn 100 bred heifers from same farm. They looked like peas in a pod mostly 7-8 months bred and they went from around 1500 - 1850 with most in the 1700 range. And these were no small bred heifers they were 2 years old and looked like Limo and Angus cross and had to average 1350 lbs a piece.
