Not sure what has changed but in the past we have sold bulls and heifers on Craigslist. The first time I listed some heifers I had tons of responses. Put some on there this week and not gotten a single response. I don't think the price is the problem, I always price just slightly above sale barn price, maybe it is were a lot of people have sold out in my area and doing crops.

Clist is hot sometimes and cold others I have found anything with a substantial amount of $$ involved sometimes doesnt sell too quick during christmas holiday season.

Not to say those pics may not have been tweaked a little, but yeah, they're pretty much real. Those bulls have unbelievable amounts of hair, and with that kind of hair, good fitters can work magic. Go to http://www.cattle.com and click on Denver coverage - you can see video's of some of these bulls on display, and you can see the hair and the fit jobs. For some reason I don't see the videos on 2013, but they are on the 2012 page.

Here is your chance at a group of high end calves. These cattle have never seen a sale barn. They off of a stock I have that came out of Georgia. These heifers will top the 1400lbs mark. All from great milkers and easy to calf. I have never had to pull a calf. Money in the bank. They are long flat top beef producing machine. These cattle are up to date on all vaccine wormer etc. Iam only interested in selling as a group. I have another full time job not looking a bunch of tire kickers. Yea some people are really trying too hard. They say the calves will be over 600lbs before 6 mos... How do they know? 8,000 for 5 calves that you have no clue what the weight is... No thank you

Probably from experience--last year's and 2012's calf crop. I didn't care much for pic #2 but the rest I liked.
I have a pretty good idea what the offspring of each of my cows will wean out at in non-drought years--I assume this seller does too.

That may be true but its way over the price of a commercial calf in our area and they arent even registered. Thats probably why they been on CL for over a month.

Actually is a pretty bull, at a good price. I don't think I'd wasn't to buy a Brahma that's advertised as a bit touchy though..

Don't say when he was weaned, maybe a year ago? :lol:
