My good friend Sim Ang King stuck his nose under the tent. IMO, no harm has been done. Three posts followed Sim Ang King's lead. There was an implication that somehow depression is related to religious fulfillment. I simply disagree.

Might help people's depression if they were to remember the real reason for Christmas isn't the gifts, or the tree, or even being with family in a cozy house. It's all to remember that single solitary life, that came to bring joy to the heavy hearted, and to be a friend to some poor lonely lost soul. He is all you need to find joy.
Doesn't have to be about religion, just be kind to each other, love those that don't feel loved, and be a friend to the friendless. Those are the truths He lived by, and in those truths you can find Joy, or help your fellow man find Joy, in any season of life.
I don't care either way, if you think some pill from a doctor will solve all of your problems, then by all means take it.
And it will work, for now, but until you come to the real root of your depression, it will never get fixed.
Merry Christmas everyone, and may it be a happy one!
