Nothing any prettier than black cows on green grass (well really just cows on green grass) And to be able to get the calves on grass before Thanksgiving is really a blessing.

We plant both here at the house and at the main farm. I don't do much of the actual work at the main farm, but I am the one that does the prep work here at the house. Not bad for an old grandma huh! I did put a new tractor seat on my Christmas list. The pastures at the farm are getting close but are not quite ready to graze yet. The pastures at the house are rye grass and triticale it has really grown well but then we have blessed with some moisture.
