have y'all ever read the comments on some of the yahoo articles ?
here are a few about an article on the drought.

Do you want us to pay your living expenses. I would like to see what kind of house you lve in and the kind of vehicles you drive. Sorry I don't feel sorry for you. What I feel sorry for is the taxpayers who are paying for the tax subsidy that farmers and and cow ranches get from the taxpayers are paying for. At least you have propery. Oh by the way be sure to vote Republican because they will import cheap beef from overseas.

People are against federal aid until it's for them. Then it can never be enough or quick enough.

Boehner's House will definitely pass something to help but will probably want to pay for it by cutting food or medical care for the poor.

It's funny that 60 % of the farm bill is food stamps. I'm ok with doing away with all subsidies . Including food stamps welfare . Crop ins ect
