Anyone else find the popup ads in the upper corner offensive

I've seen them say "Want to Meet Philipeno Girls" , enhanced animated girls rolling around under water falls, ect... Not porn... but pretty racy for young people.

I don't mind but my son is not allowed on here yet... and my daughter definately would not be. Im on a work computer that filters most sites so its not picking up any cookies from porn sites on any thing. No offense, not saying I don't believe you, but that's what Im not getting about it looking at cookies or enet usage. This computer is clean or I would be hearing about it.

There has never been an ad for anything most people would associate with "porn" on CT to the best of my knowledge.

Im pretty sure I said.. very clearly... it was not porn...

End of the day.. I don't give a rip... Id look at porn and read about cattle... it wouldn't hurt my feelings... naked women don't offend me unless they are ugly... just saying what I have seen. :tiphat:

That's the ad I have noticed most often, in addition to the Angus ad on the left. Like dun, most of the time I don't pay much attention to what's up there on the right.

Every now and then I used to get those ads for the Russian or Asian women or some other dating ad. Sometimes its something different. Sometimes insurance, or for tractors or coupons.

I've had a couple different grumpy guys putting fear into the grocery stores. Also Cattlemax, whatever that is, and great prices on Jeep Cherokees. I seem to miss out on the boobs. :???:

I think the Angus Report thing on the left is always a video which I can't get on dialup. Would have liked to seen the one featuring Hugh Ingalls from Opal SD. Hugh is one of the longest operating registered Angus breeders in SD.

I agree completely. My computer is also screened and clean. I logout of this forum, cleaned cookies, cache, and history to boot. Came back to this site as a guest and only had the clean yogurt ads cycling for some time.

I then logged back in an immediately the animated offensive ad restarted. As an engineer I would call that cause and effect. I'm not calling anyone a liar on this. I am saying that maybe the Google adsense isn't telling you the whole story.

The only teats I want to see on this site are on cows. You guys can make all the jokes you want and figure this is normal and harmless...but I don't see it that way.

Macon, I would suspect that as part of the adsense deal the google bot has access to your subscriber data. That would answer a lot of questions and answer why women do not see the same ads as men.
