Another Child Diagnosed With the Mystery Polio-Like Virus, This Time in Southern California

A two-year-old toddler from Moorpark California has become the latest child to fall victim to the on-going mystery virus that closely mimics the symptoms of polio.
It all started when Lucian Olivera was 11 months old. He had what doctor's diagnosed as an ear infection with fever, sadly, within days, the young child couldn't stand or use his legs per ABClocal.

This week, doctors at Stanford University Medical Center were able to confirm the official diagnosis, that being,  California polio-like syndrome.
The vigorous research is ongoing as doctors and specialists investigate all the possibilites.

With international travel, lack of people getting vaccinated and the troubles of bringing in refugees I am no longer surprised where this type of thing comes to pass.

MAny of these diseases actually mutate into other diseases.

Syria is having huge problems with polio and some of those folks are also being admitted into other countries as refugees.

Canada is having problems with measles and believe it or not a possible person with ebola in Saskatchewan.

All it takes is someone on an airplane passing it on to others and then to others and so on and so on.

After all - who was that person in the line behind you at the store yesterday - and where were they and who did they come into contact with a few days ago while in the city?

Disease travels easily and hits in the most unusual of places sometimes. We tend to forget that when we live in our own little parts of the world - and those little parts of our world can be hit simply through passage of germs from one to another.

After another California child is sickened with the disease, doctors are searching for the cause

It's known to be something that can cause respiratory disease in people, a cold perhaps, a common cold," said Dr. Erc McDonald with the county health department.
Two cases were reported in San Diego in late 2012, and the victims were a teenager and an adult.
According to McDonald, it's important to remember that while the disease can paralyze its victims, it is not polio.

However, another possible cause of so many new diseases (Autism is now one in 80 births) is the change in OB healthcare. We used to wait to cut the umbilical cord after it stopped pulsing. (Think of stem cells). Now we clamp and cut it instantly before the baby is able to get things he/she needs. Now we wait until after a disease and sell them stem cells at a huge cost/profit.

Want to elaborate on what he/she is missing out on? We use to keep them in the hospital a week and the mother flat of her back for a week too. That could have something to do with it.
