What sells better epds or looks ?

Unfortunately, I believe that it's EPDs.
I think it should be the other way around.

I feel the same. I went to go look at some 10x daughters and the yw were 110-120 but they were so ugly I passed.

I don't put a lot of emphasis on numbers - but, they need to be usable. If you have cows with really strong traits that can offset the bull numbers, then they can work. Like if you have a real tank of a cow and a bull has low growth, they might make a nice package. I hate to give up much growth, though. But, in my market - looks are EVERYTHING!!!!

It's funny I looked through Griswold's catalog and there isn't an epd in sight. That being said we sell our bulls by talking to the customer and our thoughts and opinions on their history and epds; but they have to look good first.

Not wanting to keep replacement females from him would be an understatement.

I had never looked up Utah's numbers until last night. Yes, he puts a good looking calf on the ground - BUT - you better put him on a powerful cow if you want any kind of performance. He definitely does NOT have decent numbers.

That's not bad. Although prices vary from place to place so some may think expensive and some cheap.

They look blurry... I can't read them. What's her registration number?
