Not mean, just produces alot of boys. 2015 calf crop thus far is all bulls. Still have 3 more to drop, so I'm taking bets on them. :lol2:

The biggest one in the back was born 1/5/15. The far right one was born 3/20/15. Front one with the spot was born 4/16/15. Middle one was born 4/27/15.

They are cute. Beefmasters??
Did the one on the left get a vaccine near the left shoulder? It looks like some swelling, but may just be the way it's standing.

Cows are commercial cattle. Only one with any blood is the brangus whos mom (angus) showed up in our pasture some 20 or so years ago. Her calf is the oldest one. First year she has ever had a red calf, much less one with white socks. The bully bull is off a tiger striped commercial cow and his dad was a beefmaster. Here he is two years ago. The hump on his back as gotten more pronounced in the last year. He's a smallish bull, but very stocky. The 2014 calves we sold were the same age but physically smaller than the 2013 calves, yet they weighed the same. 2013 calves were his first year of calves.

Pretty calves. I can see the Beefmaster in them. I like red cattle especially Beefmasters.

hehe.. I started the season with 8 heifers and 2 bull calves...then it turned around for me, I'm at 10 heifers and 14 bulls now...

my old bull had something like 32 heifers and 10 bulls last year.but i dont have that bull anymore.hope he got alot of the cows bred before he ruined himself.

The boys are growing. The oldest could go to the sale now, but I will hold him until atleast one more is big enough to go.
