Anyways, those license plates were bragging about 10,000 lakes. What's up with that?

We have a lot of lakes

This gets me to wondering, how many of those lakes are froze over at the moment?

All 10,000 of them.

It's the state where they park a car out on the lake after it freezes in Winter and make wagers on the date the car will fall through the ice in the Spring. No secret why there's only 3 fish- the lakes are full of automobiles.

That contest makes me think of Houghton Lake, Michigan! They usually have some kind of contest as to when the ice goes out. I lived there for 28 years! Unique place. Big winter festival every year called Tip Up Town...

I have heard they have built in heaters that they use every month but august
