What's this grass ?

Here's another patch with seed head that I've hit once with glyphosate. Will hit again in a few days then burn. When it's dead it goes up in a hot flash. I've got one patch big enough that I'd like to have volunteer fire dept come hit it for training newbys.

Took couple samples of the grass this morning to my local county extension. They had no idea and said there was not an AG agent on site.

looks like love grass. used for erosion control

Google said it's Striped Japanese sedge silk tassel. But who knows
About 3 years ago I had some hydroseeding done on that Hill for erosion control and evidently it came in with that seed.
Started with a couple heads last year and now I probably have 50 on that Hill this year.
