No sir I'm not offended at all by it. I realize folks have different tastes in music and what sounds good to one ear can be painful to another. He was a tortured soul(which always fascinates me). I enjoy the voice stylings of Jamey Johnson, Stapleton, Stevie Nicks, Allison Krause, Roy Orbison, Freddie Fender, Don Mclean, John Conlee, Jackie Wilson and Otis Redding..and Harry Connick Jr..and Glen Frye to name a few..transcends many generations..sadly my generation was nearing the end of truly gifted vocalists who could perform outside the studio.
