After my wife and I finished eating buttermilk biscuits with ribbon cane syrup and wild pig sausage I drove by McDonalds and wondered if I shouldn't stop by to see what I was missing because folks were lined up waiting on their orders. Must be good stuff.

My word does that look good, does she make the biscuits or do you, I can't make bread, biscuits, pizza dough etc to save my life notwithstanding your great instructions!

We both cook and yes my wife make some great biscuits but our daughter is the bread maker of the family. She can make breads that you could eat as a meal on its on. And cookies, pies and cakes - she's mastered these for sure.

I stepped on a line last night nothing personal intended on the breakfast burrito comment. :tiphat:

So with that said you guys inspired me, left over grilled rib eye steak, sweet onion, peppers, hash browns, yes sky, lots of cheese and scrambled eggs and salsa...... Breakfast burritos for dinner.

Well I haven't forgotten that you like oysters JMJ. I just need the right opportunity to get us some.
I've had the wife fooled for better than 30 years now, and I'm planning on keeping it that way.
It's one of those M&T Meats CAB steaks Jogeephus.

Yes sir I sure do. M&T is hard to beat. Great quality in my experience.

As for fooling Mrs Grit, if you've made it 30 years then you must've done something right. That's an accomplishment to be proud of, all jokes aside :tiphat:

Oh yes and rib eye and eggs are home raised. Rest is store bought. :hide:

Alan, I just hope the eggs were organic because I hate people who don't raise organic eggs but I also hate those who don't raise their organic eggs organic enough. I trust the shells were brown. :lol2:

Alan burritos look good rib eye steak is best. Grit what is m&t meats? What's your favorite steak cut? How often do y'all eat steak?

I hesitate to say the eggs are organic for fear of the Feds nosing around, but all our chicken are hand raised, grass fed, vegan chicken. Yes through hours and hours of counseling sessions and my careful guidance all our chickens are now vegan, they understand the importance all life has on Mother Earth. Why I even saw one escorting a grass hopper out of their 4500 sq ft self sustained living habitat so it would not accidentally get stepped on. They are all brown and green eggs, we gave all of our chickens that lay white eggs to a chicken rescue shelter along with a large donation ($$$), this was done out of our concern of the health hazards that come with eating white eggs. I understand your feeling about organic home egg producers not producing organic enough eggs, it's just that black helicopter that hovers over the chickens estate along with the guys with binoculars in the black suburban at the end of the drive...... Maybe I should grow a pair and announce my right to be organic and gulten free!

I'm glad to know you are striving to be more organicker than the common every day organic person. Your enlightenment gives me hope. :lol2:

Not knocking your dish Alison because I'd jump at the chance to taste it but what exactly is hot pot. Is that bananas and coconut? Not knocking it just trying to figure out the flavor profile.
