Ok. Burdock has leaves that are very large and the bur is fuzzy-like.

We have both. Cocklebur is 20 times more prolific.

Cocklebur is 20 times more invasive in our region. I have seen where farmers let it go and it can achieve almost a pure stand of cocklebur. Especially around the barns, feedlots, pens, etc. Burdock is limited to isolated plants randomly dispersed. At least that is the nature of the two plants in this area.
