Careful Kenny. Ol Dave will have a table set up in the local high school gym and flyers tacked up all over town......."Meet the man that met Kenny Thomas--$2.00

Great. I knew that a famous person who had been in both Progressive Farmer and Angus Journal would be willing to help out a poor part time farmer / retired conservation district resource specialist. I really appreciate it.

Maybe we could all meet in the middle.
"Semi pro farm and ranch enthusiast."
Or at least subscribe to one farming magazine "Progressive Farmer" maybe and one cattle magazine. Won't help the operation but you can always say "I read one time....................". :lol2: :lol2:
There was an article about me in Progressive Farmer a few years back, does that make me big time?
Nope....gotta get cover or centerfold pics to be big time.

almanac said this weekend

Old neighbor friend up the road says when all your buddies show up to help work calves, the sign is right.
That's my way of thinking

friends are scarce when it comes to working cows

I generally don't want them to show up. How many of them really know what they are doing? Yelling and screaming doesn't work here.

Wife bought me a new Teeshirt the other day. Front of says :please ignore my language. We were working cows. :lol2:

I get things done better alone than with help.
I wish at times I had someone to run the chute while I push cattle in and load syringes for me, but it's easier on me and the cattle if I just do it myself.
Slow easy and quiet.
It doesn't always work like it should but through attrition I get it done and no one gets stressed
