Guess this is as close to a brown/green Christmas as I am going to get. Can't beat 34F on Christmas Eve.

I think she is pretty decent.

My pick of the heifer calves. Have liked this one from birth, dam is behind her.
I can't wait for this girl to grow up, have had really good luck with this particular cowline.
Cow/calf pair. Don't think the cows are suffering, leaving the calves on for no-stress weaning.
The flow is still pretty good on this end - my July 1st calf, youngest of the bunch.
The last project before winter(ish) weather set in, another solar water set-up.
Water is a little silty as I have the sump pump at the bottom of the well and making the pump system agitate out the quicksand at the bottom, each time it drains and fills up. See if I can get the cows to clean out the well this winter.

I have 3 calves (july 7- aug 7) calves still on the teat and they're doing well.. I much rather have a few degrees below freezing than muck, but I guess we all gotta take what we are given!
