I'm in the process of fixing my roller. Shaft broke exit side of gearbox. Something I picked up on was that the next model newer they changed the pitch of the pto. Which removed the CVC joints in pto. Parts guy at dealer told me they used to buy up all the used balers just for the gearbox's. The shaft exiting the gearbox is standard pto spline. A coupler welded to the power shaft had two set screws. Both of which were at the very end of the splines. I don't think that would hold anything. Neighbor machinists is helping to make it better, stronger. Hopefully it'll last as long as I need it. That's one of the things I been up to. Thought I'd share.
