I'm about to sell my personal truck, gas is to high had to get a Saturn, but I still owe on it. This means I don't have the title, so how do I sell it without going through a dealership. I'm new to selling a vehicle that I owed money on, so if any one has any experience or ideas on this subject please post them.

When you get a buyer go to whoever holds the title with the money and the title holder will release the title to the new owner with the lean cleared.(If they pay cash)
If the buyer is financing the truck once he is approved his financial source will pay your lender and your lender will transfer the title to the new lender. Or, if he is buying outright he pays your lender and your lender releases the title to him. When I sold my first truck I had the buyer pay the lender directly so that if there was a misunderstanding it would be between the lender and the buyer.
