let me know your thoughts on her

This is a cow I'm getting this week, folks bought her at a breeders sale in PA (Oct 2010), she calved in late January 2011 and the heifer calf got frostbit on her ears and ended up losing a front hoof. The owner that couldn't take care of the pair wasn't set up properly. This was their only cow.

She is open, has extra teets (6) altogether the rear pair don't bag.
she let me scratch her head last night but seems a little wild compared to mine.
anyway i offered 700 and the owner agreed.

I have a bull in now, but if she doesnt settle i can get more for her at the market.

Yeah, need better pic. But if those are a bunch of flies up in the corner of her eyes I sure would give her a good spray. Especially makes me nervous with Herefords. JMO.

Since there are no other pics...

Looking at her pedigree, I expect her to be a taller later maturing type and the photo confirms that. I'd like to see more width from end to end, more heartgirth, much more capacity, better eyes and a touch more muscle. On the positive side she has a good coat, is very feminine so she should be a decent milker. In my opinion the type is a bit outdated, but there should be quite a bit of performance behind her.

Down to brass tacks

If the owner will take 700 thats a good buy.

Cow aint perfect but you arnt payment top cow price.
Breed her to a black bull and make some cash, if she doesnt raise a good calf. Let her go for pounds.
If you have pasture dont see how you can go wrong with this one.
