Lake Mead

I have seen several articles and pictures about Lake Mead and how low it is and the expectancy for it to drop much, much further in the near future. I also have been seeing alot the last couple of days about the horrible flooding in southern Nevada and how out of control the streams are and the towns are flooded after record rains in the area. But, I have not seen anything about whether or not all this rain is helping Lake Mead. Has anyone seen anything about whether or not this is helping the lake level to rise? Just curious as to whether the rain was in the right place to help the lake level.

Doesn't Lake Powell have to fill first, before Lake Mead gets any water?

Lake mead is pretty large, it doesn't look like it has changed much yet.

Thanks for the replies. I do not know the geography, so not sure what route the flood water takes. Thanks for the link. It tells exactly how the level is doing. That is a great tool.
