Just glad it's rain and not snow

9.1 inches of rain since yesterday morning. No end in sight

Got a heck of a lot today--don't know how much but pretty sure all my beaver traps are way under water and maybe even their lodge itself is . Most of the rain came after dark, so it's hard to tell. From the way the yard ditches look, and the amt of water flowing out of the nat'l forest, I'd say 6-8" since noon.
Daylight will tell the story.

We've been saying the same thing. We're up to about 9.5 inches, it's not raining now but there's more on the way.

It quit raining here this morning. Now we've got about 1/2 inch of snow and more falling.

I thought we were in for I yesterday afternoon when the radar showed it snowing well into Mexico and the Big Bend area. Was bearing down on Austin when I went to bed. Kinda glad it headed north and east from their. Still got 2 1/2 inches of rain. Makes about 65 for the year......
