JD 6400 PTO

JD 6400(not mine)PTO stalling under load.Will run PTO without equipment attached but won't power equipment.Same guy has a Kuhn made Gehl tedder which is out of time.I'm thinking jumped some teeth in the bevel gears.

On the tedder drop the basket down that is out of time and push back aligned. On the tractor is it the pto or down on power?

The PTO worked unhooked from implement.Wouldn't turn under load from my understanding.The man decided to let the dealer fix it.

Probably the speed sensor, or PTO clutches, worse case. Usually they will set a code whenever the problem occurs.
