So here I was thinking I'd slowly dip my toes into gettting back into working full time.. So far every week has been over 50 hours
I mean the work and hours are kicking the crap out of me, but it's interesting work, I'm pretty much never doing the same thing twice, or at least not in quick succession... It's been winter tire season here so I've been mounting a lot of studded winter tires on the trucks. There's always wiring gremlins in the tail lights and scales of the big trucks... On Friday a big tridem lowbed came in with the fenders all ripped off, they sent a new (to the area) driver up a road a big trailer like that had no business being on.. so had to do some emergency fixesThat's how it usually works with heavy equipment and trucks. Never a shortage of work.
Just be glad you didn't dip your toes in to the oil patch.
But, how do you like it, other than not having cows and hay?
Are you enjoying your new life?
yeah, usually get weekends, sometimes there's something pressing to do on saturday.. it's just the last couple weekends I was down at the coast and was really busy with my own stuff so I didn't exactly rest.. This weekend has been a lazy one!Are you getting a regular day off?
I've come up with a few on-the-fly fixes to keep things rolling alreadyI think they have done alright getting someone innovative like you working for them Nesi.

Ops! I hate it when that happens! One time I decided to change the oil on my truck. I crawled under there with a wrench, found a bolt, loosened it and pink stuff came out. It was the transmission fluid.
The cold is coming from his way, extreme!!Well, been a month or so... how's it going now? You are probably getting hit with this cold too right now.
